FAQs

Physiotherapists are first contact practitioners in Australia. This means that private patients DO NOT need a referral to see our physiotherapists. However, those under Department of Veterans Affairs, Medicare (EPC/Care Plans) and Return to Work SA (Workcover) or Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Claims DO need a referral from their general practitioner or specialist.

The gap payment is individual to your policy depending on your level of cover and health fund. If you would like to learn more about how much you can expect to receive as a rebate, you can either contact your health fund or we can do a quote on our HICAPS terminal.

As your practitioner will be moving, stretching and exercising you, please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing that is not restricting to all of your treatments. If required, we do have spare shorts that you can change into. We also recommend you to wear enclosed and supportive footwear if your appointment will be exercised based in the gym.

For your initial or review appointment, please allow time for a 30-40 minute appointment. We ask that you arrive 10 minutes prior to complete relevant new patient and injury information forms. Following your appointment, we will arrange further appointments as discussed during your treatment plan with your physiotherapist. For follow up appointments, we suggest allowing 20-30 minutes. Your physiotherapist will discuss appointment length and frequency with you as part of your treatment plan.
