What are the opening & closing hours at Olympic Sports Clinic?

Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 6.30 pm
Saturdays 8.00am – 11am

Does Olympic Sports Clinic provide treatment for Motor vehicle, RTWSA, DVA and EPC claims?

Yes, however, a referral is required from a general practitioner prior to treatment being provided.

Do I need a referral?

Yes, but only for Return to Work SA (RTWSA), Motor vehicle accident claims, DVA and EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) plans.

When should I pay for my treatment?

Payment is required from private patients on the day of service with their private health fund card. We have HICAPS facilities.

Can a physiotherapist provide a sick certificate?

Yes, but only for conditions related to our field of expertise, such as musculoskeletal injuries.

How much is the gap?

The gap payment varies depending on your private health cover.

How many treatments will I need?

This can be discussed with the Physiotherapist at the initial assessment where the patient will also be provided with self-management strategies.

Is hydrotherapy supervised by a physiotherapist?

Yes, a physiotherapist supervises all hydrotherapy sessions.

Do you have crèche facilities?

No

Can Olympic Sports Clinic provide/arrange provision of medical aids suited to assist with rehabilitation?

We have a reasonable stock of rehabilitative aids including braces, splints and fit balls.

Can you arrange provision of a TENS unit?

Yes, please ask us for further information.

Can I do Rehab/Exercise classes at Olympic Sports Clinic?

Yes, an initial appointment and assessment is performed by a physiotherapist who then provides an appropriate program. You would then be referred to the classes when you are confident with your program.

How many people are in an exercise class?

There is a maximum of 5 people + Physio per class (Covid restrictions), each with supervised, individual programs.
